How do I set up my e-mail to be downloaded to my computer?
E-mail Setup Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express
- Open Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express
- Choose the Tools menu and then select Accounts.
- Click the Add button and then select Mail.
- Enter your name. This is the name that people will see when they receive an e-mail from you.
- Choose Next.
- If prompted, choose I already have an e-mail address that I would like to use.
- Enter your complete lpbroadband.net E-mail address.
Example: leads@lpbroadband.net
- Choose Next.
- Incoming Server should be set to use POP3 by default. If not, choose POP3.
- Enter pop.everyone.net for the Incoming Mail Server Name.
- Enter smtp.everyone.net for the Outgoing Mail Server Name.
- Choose Next.
- Enter your complete lpbroadband.net email address for the Account Name.
Example: leads@lpbroadband.net
- Enter your Skybeam e-mail account password for the Password.
- If you want to have your password saved, so that you don't have to type it when checking e-mail, place a check in the Remember password box.
- Secure Password Authentication should be unchecked by default. If not, uncheck Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
- Choose Next.
- Choose Finish to save your settings.
- Choose the Mail tab.
- Select (i.e. highlight) the pop.everyone.net Account and then choose the Properties button.
- Choose the Servers tab.
- Check the box My Server requires authentication.
- Choose the Select Settings button.
- Logon Information select Use Same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Choose the OK button
- Choose the Apply button.
- Choose the OK button.
- Choose the Close button.
Email Setup - Netscape Communicator
- Open your Netscape Mail client.
- Choose the Edit menu and then choose Mail/News Account Settings.
- Choose New Account.
- Choose ISP or email provider.
- Enter Your Name. This is the name that people will see when they receive an e-mail from you.
- Enter your complete lpbroadband.net E-mail Address.
Example: leads@lpbroadband.net
- Choose Next.
- Incoming Server should be set to use POP by default. If not, chooose POP.
- Enter pop.everyone.net for the Incoming Server Name.
- Enter smtp.everyone.net for the Outgoing Server Name.
- Choose Next.
- Enter your complete longspeak.net e-mail address for the User Name.

- Choose Next.
- Enter your complete lpbroadband.net e-mail address for the Account Name.
Example: leads@lpbroadband.net
- Choose Next.
- Enter the name by which you want to refer to this account.
- Choose Next.
- Verify that your information is correct.

Other Email Software
Most other email software that support the POP and SMTP email standards for sending and receiving email. There are five primary settings that you will need to configure in your email software:
- Username
You must use your complete email address:
leads@lpbroadband.net
- Password
Your email password. This is the same password that you use to login to your web based email account.
- Incoming Mail Server (POP)
pop.everyone.net
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
smtp.everyone.net
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Authentication
In order to send email, you must set your email software to use authentication when connecting to the outgoing mail server. If your email software asks you to enter a username and password, enter the same username and password that you entered in settings one and two above.
